I found this old sliderule in a box of stuff and thought it deserved to be captured. This was something my father owned and used once upon a time.

I was hoping to capture the lines and reflections on it, but I need to spend some more time working on getting the right DOF for the photograph. I took several and this is the only one that turned out fairly well.

I also need to work on the light so that there is a nice reflection on the metal but the glass is transparent. Also would help to clean it up a little more so there isn’t gunk on the glass.
