If ever there was a kid who loved taking a bath this is him. You just try to get him out of the tub. One look at the towel and he rolls over onto his front with his legs out straight and his just his head sticking out. Can’t fight cute!

Panning is a real challenging photo method. To begin with, as I understand it, the focal plane of the camera isn’t a flat plane, its a sphere, so you are going to get better result trying to pan along a curve. Plus, you need to shoot at a high f-stop to get the largest depth of field so you can keep you subject in focus during your movement. Trying to do it in hand is hard for obvious reasons, but using a tripod is a challenge as well since then you pivot point is the camera body, not the lens (same issue for doing panorama/sticking). Plus, the effect isn’t as “cool” unless you do it at night (IMHO) because otherwise you don’t get the nice light streams.
