Using painters tape to secure drawing paper

ColoringAndrew is starting to enjoy coloring more and more and we have started using the blue painters tape to hold his drawing paper down to his table. Its cheap and comes in nice wide widths and because it is designed to be pulled off, doesn’t have a real strong adhesive, so it leave the table top unharmed.

I do something similar, but it’s not painters tape. I use packing tape! Painters tape would work great for my 2 yr old (thanks for that tip), but I also have a 1 yr old. So w/ his paper it needs to be the packing tape. There is no way his little fingers can pull that up! I happen to have a card table that we use for projects/coloring. The packing tape never leaves any residue.

What a clever idea. I’m a little bummed I never thought of it, but I will certainly pass it along!
